Trip to Malta: Hands on Practice!

As we have been doing in the previous years, first year students in  International Trade and first year students in Transport and Logistics have visited Malta  to learn about the island's port and economic activity. This visit is part of the International Transport module.
Our students visited the Free Port of Malta. They  were received by the Maltese Port Authorities. Mr. Fritz Farrugia, Deputy Harbor Master and Mr. Godwin Xerri, Combined Maritime Director, told us about the importance of Maritime Transport for the island of Malta and about Malta’s future challenges.
As a way to strengthen ties of collaboration with the MCAST University School, our students have participated in a joint workshop with students at MCAST. Students have had to find a solution to a practical case of air transport between Malta and Barcelona.

Students also took part in a cultural and historic itinerary around the Island.
